About
Hey ya’ll! I am graduate of the University of South Carolina (Go Cocks!) and a working woman now. Over the past year my life has changed drastically! I got married to my high school sweet heart, bought a new house, and got adjusted to the working world. It has been a crazy but wonderful ride so far! I’m what you would call an old southern soul. I like antiques, sewing, crafts, coaching softball, and a nice warm South Carolina day.I’m learning the ins and outs to being a wife and professional! (and that includes learning how to NOT burn the house down at dinner time) Everything has changed… except, I still talk to my mom at least twice a day.
I started this blog to chronicle my sewing adventures… However, I haven’t had much time to indulge in my passion lately. I still want to share with you all the adventures I take with my sewing, but would also like to share the fun day to day things going on in my world! I hope you will come along for the ride!
Where did Flossy come from?
Flossy was a name my great grandmother used. With 10 children and more than a bunch of grandchildren, she HAD to have a hard time keeping everyone’s name straight. She was an amazing at everything! She was the best cook, gardener, homemaker and most of all… mother. When I was born my Papa gave me the nick name Flossy. Ever since that day my family has called me by that name… its weird to hear them call me anything else.
